(Province South Holland) Recently the Stripboekenbeurs (Comic convention) has grown out to the event in the field of Strips, comics, manga, science-fiction or fantasy! So the fair contains over 200 stands, with publishers, shops, foundations, studios and traders with lots of attractive offers. Enough to guarantee a great day or weekend. Also this time, for the lovers, a number of international well known artists will travel to Rijswijk, to provide Their Comic Books with nice drawings. But, you can go through much more ! On both days at 13.00 hr, there is an auction with lots of interesting items. On Saturday The Rijswijk Comic Public -Award will be distributed to a person or organisation, who, in the last year, was responsible for the most striking "Comic news" or the most striking performance in the field of comic strips. (chosen by comic-strip-lovers themselves). On Sunday there is the final event of the Dutch championship Comic - drawing for youth (who will be the best Young Comic drawer in the Netherlands?)
